It is the wild flowers picked. It is the admiration of 

perfection for a solitude feather.

Wild offerings is the silent beauty we find in nature.

Creating this art piece was a joyous journey. It was an honour to paint the feeling of being totally aware that I had arrived on the other side of a tough period of my life. After being unwell for four years, I felt the need to celebrate a new found gratitude for the life I was living and the land I called home. Throughout the four years I was unable to paint I utilised my time by creating gardens across two acres of land. This painting is dedicated to the reciprocal exchange between myself and the land.  

Some of the elements found in this artwork are representing the garden I have been planting and the native vegetation which grows here. The lotus flower in the centre represents myself. The lotus flower known for its symbolism of purity and rebirth. The flower emerges from the depths of murky waters and mud to display its brilliance.

I have put pen to paper many times over, or should I say fingers to keyboard to write a blog. Originally I started this blog page to share with you my story of how I healed my body from a physical melt down which unplugged my life force for four years. To be on the other side of this health crisis seems surreal as when you are in un-wellness it feels there is no light at the end of the tunnel. My art suffered, my relationship and every other part of my social functionality ceased to exist. The blog I originally began was my journey of healing and all that helped me however whilst I would write my posts on these topics, I found myself feeling anxious, loosing my voice and fatigued. Then one night whilst lying in bed at 4am in the morning I relised what I was doing was breaking my number one rule of how to heal the body.
